SamenLoop voor Hoop is a 24 hour walk for cancer research. Team members alternate on a course as a symbol for the ongoing battle against cancer.

Around the walking relay, every edition has a special program for visitors, full of music and activities. United Pipeline Products B.V. will be joining at the Samenloop voor Hoop Sint-Oedenrode 2-3 September 2018.

Odendael is a care center in Sint-Oedenrode, The Netherlands. In addition to the residents and clients of the care center, more and more residents of Sint-Oedenrode make use of all possibilities. Odendael is the center of the seniors event of Sint-Oedenrode where everyone is welcome.

Of course, the healthcare is funded by the government, but … it may not seem strange to you that the budgets are under pressure. There is less and less money available for extra provisions in the area of ​​well-being and daytime activities. That is why a friends foundation has been set up that aims to finance extra facilities for seniors. You can think of activities, outings, performances, materials or decoration of the meeting room.

Every year events are organized by the friends foundation who raise money to be able to pay for these activities. In addition, it is possible to become a friend of Odendael! To continue to do these extra things for the seniors in Odendael, it is of course nice to have support from people who feel involved with this target group.

In the Netherlands, more than a million people live below the poverty line. The food banks help the poorest by providing them with temporary food packages. In order to provide their customers with sufficient food, they work together with companies, institutions, governments and private individuals. In this way, together we ensure that poverty is combated, food surpluses disappear and the environment is taxed less. With the motto: “Eye for food, heart for people”.

In order to increase the self-reliance of their customers, they work together with local organizations that help their customers to stand on their own feet again. After all, food aid must always be temporary. In 2016, the deployment of 11,000 volunteers provided 38,500 food packages per week from 166 local food banks and approximately 135,000 Dutch people were dependent on the food bank.
